E-Commerce & Privacy
The Website mhcworld.co.za sells a wide range of products online. The use of any product or service bought from this Website is at the purchaser’s risk. The purchaser/ user indemnifies and holds the Provider harmless against any loss, injury or damages which may be sustained as a result of using the products sold on the Website.
The private information required for executing the orders placed through the e-commerce facility, namely the User’s personal information and credit card details, delivery address and telephone numbers will be kept in the strictest confidence by the Provider and not sold or made known to third parties. Only the necessary information, that is the delivery address and contact phone number will be made known to third parties delivering the product. Credit card details are not kept by the Provider under any circumstances.
The Provider cannot be held responsible for security breaches occurring on the User’s electronic device (personal computer or other electronic device used to browse the Website), which may result due to the lack of adequate virus protection software or spyware that the User may inadvertently have installed on his/her device.
The Provider will supply all goods to the delivery company in good order. The Provider will not be held liable for the condition of goods arriving at the User’s chosen delivery address.
All online credit card payments are processed by the VCS Internet Payment Gateway. Card Holders may go to www.vcs.co.za to view security policy. Please don't buy all products with price R0.00 / R0.01 online. Please contact the store for price.
Delivery after online payment was made
Please note that all our deliveries take place within 5 to 6 working days. The goods will dispatch and/or be delivered only after the payment reflects.
Television PurchasesKindly note, A valid payed up TV licence is required for every TV purchase as per SABC regulations for both instore and online. A Copy of the ID document is needed for the necessary validation check. No TV Set can be sold without a valid TV licence.
Refund and Return Policy
The provision of goods and services is subject to availability. In cases of unavailability, the provider will refund the client in full within 30 days. Cancellation of orders by the client will attract a 10% charge for administration costs.
The Provider reserves the right to cancel an order for which payment has already been received. This may occur if the stock is insufficient or the quality of goods ordered does not meet the Provider’s standards. Should the Provider exercise this right, the User will receive a full refund with no deductions. Fabrics and haberdashery items are non-returnable, not exchangeable nor refundable.
All repairs not collected within 90 days from date of receipt will be disposed of.
On most products sold online MHC offers a 1year warranty, while some products may offer a 5 to 10 year warranty.
Any items purchased from MHC world comes with a 7 days return guarantee should they be unsatisfactory. These items should however be in their original sold condition. You are required to contact the store within 7 days after the purchase has been made.
The warranty holds good for products that are used within the prescribed norms, those that are not eligible for warranty are but not limited to:
Products that have surpasses the warranty period;
- Damages due to misuse of product;
- Incidental damage to the product;
- Products that do not have serial/chassis number (Bikes and gym equipment);
- Malfunction of digital product due to user settings;
- Negligence and improper care in maintenance of the product;
- Products that come under the category of natural wear and tear (tires, bearings, wheels, etc);
- Failure to install, operate or use the Products in accordance with the user instructions, specifications or conditions made available to the Customer by MHC or any alteration or repair by you or a third party who is not one of MHC’s authorized repairers;
- Damage resulting from fire, lightning, storms, vandalism, or non-secure transport.

Provider reserves the rights to change, modify, add or remove from portions or the whole of these Terms and Conditions from time to time.
